For his career, Sandfort is averaging 11 points on 42% FG and 36% from 3. That is not NBA caliber unless you bring something else elite to the table (e.g. defense, athleticism, rebounding, passing).

He is a one trick pony and not even that good with the one trick.

5.4 of his 8.9 attempts per game have been from 3.

This year he’s averaging 7.5 three point attempts per game and averaging 34%.

That is high volume and not effective. It’s also lower than Lipseys career 3 point percentage for comparison.

In his defense, I don't know who else they want to shoot. The rest of the team already used their mojo vs ISU.

Sandlot already shot his wad when he went scoreless in that nba combine scrimmage game….. he ain’t an nba player.
He’s just a good college shooter…. Not even a good college BB player. Kinda similar to the rest of that crap team.

Ive seen him play several times. He would be good if he wasnt so eager to get a shot up the second he touched the ball. There’s a difference between having a quick release and rushing your shot. He seems like he rushes his shot almost every time he shoots, or hes off balance when he doesnt need to be. When he’s wide open he’s at his best, and even then he’s a dollar store bargain bin version of Matt Thomas.

If Sandforts calling card is three point shooting hes failing badly.

32% this year.

Thata outside the top 150 division 1 players per ESPN (ranks only those with 2.5 makes per game on average which he does not qualify at only 2.4).

He is not an elite shooter. Not a three point specialist (unless you base that on the fact he can do nothing else). I suppose he makes a a decent amount (if you consider #158 nationally a good number) but chucks them up at a very high clip (7.4 per game which is 61st nationally).

There are 85 players that attempt 7 or more a game. Only 8 shoot a lower clip.

So he’s “elite” in terms of shooting a high volume but failing to connect. He’s #32 nationally in threes missed per game. Maybe they can hang a banner in Carver for that.

Milan would be around #20 in 3FG% but is averaging only 2.3 makes per game.

He’s #182 on makes but #376 on attempts.

Curtis is #91 on makes and #85 on attempts.

I agree with CW, Keshon is a top college Bball player. I don’t care that Edgecomb played great with NBA players over the summer, he scored 4 pts in each blowout loss to Gonzaga and ISU. He’s not even close to Keshon, or Jones or Jefferson in terms of being a great college player

Good time to point out Momcilivic is shooting 46% from three. 46%! Elite shooter!

Agreed. Taking 14 shots a game at 40% FG. Taking 8 threes a game and making only 30%. High volume and not efficient. Surprised Arizona lets this go on given they have good talent around him.
