What will be the new hire timeline? Before or after Christmas?
My guess is two weeks. They said Rhoads is out recruiting for two weeks and my guess is he'll be interviewing candidates and making final decisions by then.

I'm being serious. It's not like we are going to be able to go out and immediately secure a Tom Moore or Jason Garret.
I think O'keefe was held back in his play calling by the head coach there. Look at what his offenses did prior to his arrival at Iowa. He may just entertain the idea of calling plays in a wide open offense without heavy interference.
Might also depend on whether it is somebody coaching on a team that is going bowling. If that's the case you could see the announcement held off until after their bowl.
Nope. Difference between 1st half and 2nd half was execution on offense.
After that reverse call on 3rd and 2 he should have been home immediately.
Probably weeks ago. Hopefully he's already got a short list and he's put out feelers.
Guessing that a replacement has already accepted the position but wanted his own running backs coach hired. Total speculation.
Did it work that way when Tom Herman went to Ohio State?
I saw him talking to GR a couple times on the sidelines. Just seemed odd for a OL coach to be talking to a QB.
He is a good guy that had a tough job with our quarterback issues. It was time for a change though.
I hate to see someone loose a job, but this is big time football, with big time salaries. If you are not getting things done, you need to be replaced. I am sure they are both great guys and will find a job elsewhere in coaching.
I really wondered if Klenakis was calling plays in the second half. I saw him talking to GR a couple times on the sidelines. Just seemed odd for a OL coach to be talking to a QB.
This is well stated. My thoughts exactly. Bottom line is you can be the best OC, doctor or mechanic, if you don't have the right tools your in trouble.
