I've always kind of wondered about the consequences of curing cancer. Especially if was suddenly easy and cheap. Could a sudden cure lead to overpopulation?

Never thought about this, But if we cure HIV, Cancer, banish all guns and have self driving cars in 10 years??? there would be a ton of extra people all the sudden.

It's more likely some other ailment will become killer #1. Kinda like how more people die from Alzheimers and other mental afflictions than in centuries past. Because in early Colonial America you were more likely to die in more violent intention ways.

Jobs died of Pancreatic cancer, not because "he went the homeopathic route" but because pancreatic cancer is quite merciless. You're lucky if you live for 6 months with that diagnosis. He survived 2 years with his homeopathic treatments. And btw, both Jobs and Gates were/are self-centered megalomaniacs. Do not admire them. They are both deceivers.

Are you basing this on the coroner's report? Are you thinking that he gave himself pancreatic cancer because he ate too much fruit?
