Beatty won. Maybe St. John was the other guy who lost.

Iowa 3-3 in cons. Perhaps.

ISU -- 4 finals, 1 for 3rd, 2 for 5th, and 1 already 7th.

Iowa -- 3 finals, 3 for 3rd, 3 for 5th. (I'm not very certain, though.)
if that's the case we have to win out, and they will have to lose a few upsets for us to have a shot i'm guessing

Would have loved to see Fanthorpe win some more, and what Gallick would have done. Of course, Iowa was missing Dennis, points from Slaton, and their Hwt., so it still would have been close.

There are two head-to-head match-ups in the final session.

Championship
125 pounds – No. 4 Andrew Long (ISU) vs. No. 3 Matt McDonough (Iowa)

For 5th Place
133 pounds – No. 1 Nick Fanthorpe (ISU) vs. Nate Moore (Iowa)

We also went 2 of 3 in the semis against Iowa: Reader over Morningstar, and Varner over Beatty.

Team scoring heading into the finals:

Iowa 154.5 (3 Champion Bracket, 6 Consolation)
Iowa State 139.5 (4 Champion Bracket, 3 Consolation)
Central Michigan 114
