Big beer brawl brewing – MSN Money

Yikes. Ever since I toured the Coors brewery and sampled it fresh I have liked it. But I definitely miss the taste of the fresh brewed stuff. Miller is decent, but for some reason I view it as a lady beer, probably since thats what I always see ladies drinking. I think this team up will be good for the two companies if they want to grab a bigger share of the market. And who knows, maybe the two of them together can come out with some great varieties of beerski.

Bud has 58% of the US beer market? Wow there are lots of lemmings with bad taste. I will admit, when I drink cheap american mass market beer, I choose Miller Lite, but it is the only of the light beers that still tastes like beer. Bud light has no flavor at all. I always consider that to the girls beer.

Ill drink Bud because its quick to grab anywhere. If I have a party or something its generally cheaper and most will drink it, but I will have a side stash of better stuff for people to try and such.

Bud Light tastes like water to me. The only domestic "macrobrew" that I buy is MGD for the simple reason that it actually has some real beer taste.

I am on a Golden Light kick right now. We are trying Fat Tire (Thanks Brianhos) for this weeks tailgate.

Practice makes perfect...keep trying, Guinness is great. I toured the brewery in Dublin; they give you a free pint at the end of the tour...worth the price of admission by itself!

We have some real snobbish beer drinkers on this site. I agree with above, but add one more:

I'm game for a lot of things, but the Beast is just *** in a can.

i'm beer snob

though when I do buy light beer, it's typically bud light or mich golden light. Miller lite is just bad.

Guilty as charged, but I am an all-encompassing beverage snob.

I have been known to roast my own coffee beans, and only brew loose-leaf tea, both iced and hot. Beverages are my simple pleasure.
