I started out with millers lite, moved to bud light, went to Amsterdam and got on a Heineken kick (It was pretty plentiful in Spain, and I prefered it to Amstel). On the fourth of July I drank Budwiser (not Bud Lite) and that tasted like water... though not so much now that I'm back in the US and away from the beers I had in Europe (The stuff they had in Poland and Germany was pretty darn good!)

But now that I'm back in the US... I dunno. More of a spirits person myself. I drank some Coors Lite from a can while tailgating in Toledo, that tasted even more like water than the Budwiser hand on the 4th

Currrently I am lost and wandering looking for a decent balence in price and taste in beer... In the mean time I'll continue to down Long Islands and drink my way through the periodic table of mixology

By the way I can't believe no one has commented on the sheer creativenesss in naming this new venture... "MillerCoors"

Has anybody tried brewing their own? I was thinking of trying that Sam Adams contest but I need a great original flavor. I am having a hard time coming up with one that I think would actually work.

how about Apricot-Honey-Stout Light.... that should be original....

okay, I am finished with my sarcastic posts today... i think.

- keep.

Yea that's what I was thinking, if it could just be kind of a light aftertaste.

Crisp, with a slight peachy aftertaste. Mmmmmm. If you can pull it off, I would love to try it. Maybe at a tailgate =)

Yeah I currently have a Porter stlye in the fermenter. It is suppose to be kind of a coffee/chocolate tasteing brew. Should be ready in about a month! I did try a micro brew in Logan, Utah a few months back it had an apricot infusion, it was tastey.

Let's get in touch with the guys at Olde Main to see if they'll whip up a batch of limited edition, Cyclone Fanatic Tailgating Beer.

We need to have a CF get together there and just try all their beers!

"The primary fermenter is where the wort goes after you've boiled it, and it's where the beer begins to ferment and become that fabulous stuff that makes you so funny and charming. "

Ha ha, still looking for the beer that does that. Can it make me good looking as well? If I am to do this I want to do it right. Not half-assed. How many bad ones did you make before you got it right?

Where and what should I buy to do this.

I go through Northern Brewer up in the Twin Cities. They are very knowledgable and helpfull. Visit them at NORTHERN BREWER

I believe they also come down to Northwood and put on classes at Worth County Brewing.

I bought my starter kit there about 7 years ago. Their prices are competitive and they usually have all the kits and ingerdients in stock.
