Miller Lite is the best beer for things like tailgating and parties. It is good and still has a beer taste to it. Heineken is the way to go for a one or two beer night.

I agree that if mass quantities are to be consumed miller lite is the way to go. If it is one or two beers there is no way I choose a domestic macro.

Sam Smith's Nut Brown Ale ... fantastic, but $8 to $10 for a four pack is a little high.

Mississippi Mud in the crock-bottle is also good.

The usually though is Shiner 98 Bavarian Style Amber, Shiner, or Shiner Light.

I recently tried the Shiner Heffeweisen. That is pretty tasty, a little on the sweet side, but was very good.

I tried that recently too...very good. Last week I bought a sampler case at Costco...(6) Dos XX, (6) Dos XX amber, (6) Sol, (6) Tecate. I guess I'm partial to crappy Mexican beer...

The only people that are allowed to drink the Beast are old farmers whose taste buds have long been killed off by pesticides and ... drinking Milwaukee's Best.

Are you over 65? Do you farm? Are you unshaven and wearing overalls?

Unless all 3 answers are yes, then put down the crap and come towards the light.

NOTE!!!: If you're ARE over 65 DO NOT come towards the light!
Ummm......no, no and no. How about, I'm 37 and when I was a kid, you could get a case for $5.99. I guarantee I consumed more of that in an eight year period than I have anything else since. I drink Miller Light now, but I'll get an occasional 12 pack when I feel like riding the way back machine.
