Curious about your thoughts about the Miller interception that was over turned. Wasn't this the same as the ksu Jarvis West play?

It was similar, but the WRs knee was clearly down, and the replay officials had a better camera angle to overturn it. Obviously Jarvis' knee was also down, which is what really irks me. I wish the refs would stay consistent on some calls one way or another.

Very different. Refs got it right this week.

Biggest difference if I remember correctly is the WR had already clearly controlled the catch

Two completely different scenarios.

Jarvis West's play was catching the ball.... while the Iowa player yesterday was running with the ball. BIG difference.

When catching the ball (West's play) you MUST come completely to the ground with possession of the ball, which West wasn't able to do. The Iowa player had already caught the ball and was running with the ball.

Both calls were actually correct. I disagreed with the West call last week initially until I thought about it more closely.

Not even close to the same play. First of all, it was ruled a fumble, not an interception. The Iowa receiver had caught the ball, turned, and ran up field before the tackle happened. Iowa had established possession, West did not last week.
