where has the colorado game talk been? Its potentially the biggest game of the year and the Harrison Barnes madness has dominated all the boards.
Its Senior day and a chance to get 6 wins in coach PR head coaching debut. I sure hope the excitement Saturday is still there no matter what HB decision is.

Lets not forget a football team who has given us hope in the direction of that program.

Agreed. I can't believe that Senior Day (Week) is being forgotten to focus on an 18-year old kid that has never (and will likely never) wear an Iowa State uniform. Especially for a group that has endured three head coaches. Sad.

Thankfully it will all be over today and then everyone can focus on football.

I do agree with you that this is the biggest game of the year and could possibly be the biggest game in the past 4 years. If we lose this game I'm not sure that we'll be able to go into Columbia and pull that one off. Personally I think we'll end up 7-5 or 5-7. I just don't see any way that we split these games. This team (especially the defense) plays too much on emotion to have a let down this Saturday and bounce back next week.

What is there really to talk about? We know our team by now, we know colorado's team. HB is a developing situation, and is going to get more attention for the moment.

Im sure the seniors really care that we're not talking about them on the interwebs. :jimlad:

HB commits to ISU + a Clone win on Senior day (which makes us bowl eligible and gets Mr. CPR his 6th Win) + a Hawkeye Loss = BEST WEEKEND EVER

This is my thinking as well. We win this weekend and we go down to Missouri and get another one on the road. If we lose, I'm not sure that we can get a win at Missouri.

Of course if we win tomorrow, I'm thinking about making the trip to Missouri. I haven't seen us win away from Jack Trice in person, so who knows how that will play into things.

I'm feeling optimistic so I say we win both and go 7-5, pending the bowl game of course.

Im going to miss guys like Smith, Stephens, Hamilton. Those guys have been leaders on the team and have been through a lot in their cyclone careers.

Football talk right now < Harrison Barnes.

Don't worry, there will be plenty of support for the football team tomorrow once HB commits, our b-ball team wins tonight, and we all get ready for one last round of tailgating in Ames. Then a big 6th win.

I'm all pumped up for the football game tomorrow. I'm pretty excited about the men's basketball season opener, too.
