Me. I became a Tigers fan last summer when I moved to the Detroit suburbs.

And I want the Cardinals to win for one reason - assuming the Tigers get past the Yankees, I don't really want a Giants-Tigers series for the fact that the Tigers-A's series jacked up my sleep schedule last week. A Cardinals-Tigers series would allow me to keep my regular sleep schedule.
 
This Yankees team is the least clutch team that I've ever seen...3 times with bases loaded and 0 runs...

That's saying something since I witnessed the Nats yesterday and Barnett today
 
Raul Ibanez has carried the Yankees.

I still ******* despise Granderson and Swisher.
 
Wow sucky news to hear Jeter suffered a fractured ankle in this game. Jeter is one of the class acts in baseball, never want to see stuff like this.
 
Great to see swisher suck...please don't resign him yanks.

detroit deserved to win though. Must win tomorrow or it could be a sweep.

I hope Valverde doesn't pitch another game the rest of the playoffs and is released in the offseason. I didn't like the guy last year when he was clutch saving games, and I can't stand him now that he can't save a game when the team's season is on the line. What good is a closer that blows multiple multiple-run leads?

That might be the case, but it doesn't help matters that the Tigers probably had the best starting rotation going into the playoffs - Verlander and Scherzer were 1-2 in AL Ks, Fister only set the AL record for consecutive Ks (9) 1-2 weeks ago, and Sanchez has really come on now that he has adjusted to AL batting - the guy has only given up 2 runs the entire playoffs, both in one game against the A's where he got absolutely no run support from his offense and collected the loss as a result. He was amazing once again tonight and this time got his run support.

It was the same **** in the O's series..only won that because of CC. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 4-0 sweep...no way they are gonna hit off of Verlander.
