3 hits to 3 hits in a 2-1 game. Yeah I guess they deserved it. Go back to your Hawkeye board where the Hawks deserve to win every game. Nationals didn't "deserve" to win anymore than the Cardinals. That's how it goes. Did the O's or the A's deserve it more last night? I acknowledged Werth made a play. But deserved to win? What does that mean? 9 k's to end the game. So what. What if the Cards hit a home run to win in the 9th - would they have not deserved it? Baseball is a fluid game. Did the Rangers deserve to win game 6 last year? There is no such thing as deserved to win a game. Did the Nationals get jobbed by the ump? Stats in any sport don't add up to deserving doddily squat.

I would be more mad if Matheny leaned on Rzepcinski and we lost - THEN THEY WOULD HAVE DESERVED IT!
 
I hate the Tiggers, and I should never be forced to watch the Yankees play this many damned innings.
 
Pitching deserves some credit but this is brutal offensively.

And I'd still kill to ship Granderson back to Detroit for Austin Jackson. :realmad:

Playing Lew Ford is the definition of "brutal offense". Ugh.
 
Granderson should go up to the plate without a bat. He can't do anything good with it so maybe he'll get hit or get a walk? Without a bat he can't pull the stupid **** he just did.

Nothing is more infuriating in baseball than a guy taking a defensive swing with less than 2 strikes.
