There are no modern language requirements that are in need of me graduating high school. However i have taken three years. How many does ISU require to graduate?
I think its 3 or 4?

If you want to be able to converse with your future bosses, take Chinese. If you want to talk with your future neighbors, take Spanish.

German really is pretty much the same as English, other than changing the words up a bit and adding gender to the nouns. And if you can speak German, any of the other Germanic languages aren't that tough.

If you want to be a rich man, take Spanish AND Chinese. Oh and if you take Spanish, Portuguese isn't that different grammatically, just sounds completely different.

Foreign language:
College of Ag = 3
Liberal Arts = 4

No clue on "English" classes.
I think it is only 3 years for Liberal Arts as well. At least, for me getting a journalism degree, they're not making me take any foreign language classes since I took 3 years in high school.

And the grammar for many European languages isn't as difficult after German, since it forms a nice formation for learning those languages.
