I work with both companies, and it's not uncommon for someone to have worked for one before the other. It's the CEOs of the two companies that aren't fond of one another - or at least trying to figure out how to sue each other for the biggest payouts. When I interview people I like it when they come with questions. For example they ask me what I'm looking for in a candidate and then can tell me why they fit the bill. And if a candidate has done no research on my company/the position, my first impression is that they're lazy. And then I hear the Gong Show gong in my head and it's curtains for the interview.
