would be a great pickup and a great start to the 2013 class with him and Thomas. I wonder if this would eliminate Samuel from consideration?

Yeah i'm guessing this would eliminate Samuel. We will have Bubu, Naz, and Morris(possibly) next year; plus 2 recruited walk-on PGs in Law and Fowler. We don't really need 6 PGs. I'm guessing we will back off on 2014 PG's too considering the following year we will have Long and Morris(if he commits) and again 2 recruited walk-ons. We need some big men already.

C'mon down Monte Morris! I have a cyclone feeling with this one, which means I will get all excited and then get kicked in the balls so hard they go to my throat.

Naz could play the two though. He definitely is a scoring PG as it is.

With all these good gut feelings going around, I suddenly have a gut feeling that things may not go our way. Of course, that's a remnant of the old Cyclone fan in me who thinks that just when things seem to be going our way... bam... WR&NL. The new coaches are starting to silence that guy, but it's gonna be a long road.

Come play for Freddy, Monte and help to silence that pessimistic SOB in my head.

A lot of these "Point Guards", Naz, Monte, and Custer can play the two as well. More point guards first but also combo guards. I don't have a feeling we will be having to many more 6'8 power forward/point guard combos on our team.

You mean that's not normal?

He's retweeting a lot of Iowa State fans who have wished him a happy birthday, I suggest everyone wish the kid a happy birthday from Iowa State.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean, but looking at the facts, I would be really surprised if he didn't committ to ISU.

This would be like blowing at 35 point lead in the 4th quarter.

Good luck to Monte Morris on his decision today. Hearing Iowa State will be tough to beat. Morris had a great spring.

Can these too many PG discussions please go away forever? The best part of a PG, is that 9/10 times a PG can also play SG, a SG can't always play PG. That is the key. After not having any true starting PG last season, i don't think Fred wants to get caught without one again in case one or more of these guys don't pan out.

Yep Fred is a smart man, he know's what he is doing. He must be consulting Bobby Lutz.
