Lovett, Bacon and Sadowsky were playing for the first time. Hope they get better in the off-season. Then the juco kid was hurt most of last year if I remember right. We should be improved this year.

I want to see more blitzing this year. Haven't done much of that the past few seasons. I loved seeing it in the West Virginia upset where we were bringing heat from multiple positions. Our edge rushers don't get enough sacks.

He had his moments for sure, but looked kinda bad at times too.

Not necessarily. Just might have better players up front and want to get them on the field. Plus it gives you more pass rush. Freyler is basically a monster back so you have the flexibility. I also think we might see Bacon at DE sometimes with his pass rush ability.

J.R. Singleton may be my new favorite player!

Little JM had him for a coach this summer at the ISU little kids camp. He seemed like a very, very good dude. Awesome with kids.

He legitimately fell once, HARD, right on his hip/ass playing a game with 3rd/4th grade kids that is essentially ultimate frisbee but with a football. The sound at which that made when that massive man hit the ground legit stopped the game while they all stared at him. I think they were afraid he broke the earth.
