What kills me is they now have content like Peyton Manning breaking down players, and something similar with Kobe, and they put it behind a damn paywall. Actual content that people might be interested in and they make you pay extra for it.

Yeah the biggest problem is the content actually want to see I have to pay for. So they have like 10 different ESPN stations and anything good is pay to view. Like the new UFC contract the signed, a ton of it is on ESPN plus or some crap. Not even sure that is the name of it. I assume at some point they will move the 30/30 to the pay internet feed as well.

“Seau” will debut exclusively on Thursday, Sept. 20, on ESPN+, the company’s multi-sport, direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service (which uses access to the whole 30 for 30 libraryas a key selling point). It’s the second standalone 30 for 30 to debut on ESPN+, following April’s “The Last Days of Knight“; the six-part ESPN Films series “Enhanced” is also exclusively on ESPN+, but that’s a little different. No word on when or if “Seau” will debut on an ESPN TV network. Here’s a look at “Seau”:

Dang. That sucks. The ratings on ESPN are going to sink even further. The only reason to watch it now is for games.

The problem with ESPN and all the 24 hour news channels is there just isn't enough content so they have to fill in with a bunch of shows which are just talk shows shown under the premise that they are news or sports.
I'm not sure how any of them justify paying morons like Skip Bayless the huge amounts of money they do.

Think about how many more viewers they could have if they showed replays of classic games rather than most of that junk.
