"I Think I Love You" by the Partridge Family. Great song.

"Eye Candy" by Fifty Cent... And some music by the Pussycat Dolls gets me going too.

Years ago I burned a CD titled "Music I'm Embarrassed I Like" and it was great.

I have a very eclectic taste in music, so I'm pretty sure much of what I listen I'd be embarrassed if other people heard. But, I'm old now and don't give a ****.

I can listen to the Carpenters one song, AC/DC the next. If I hear Milli Vanilli on 80s on 8, I don't change it. If Miley Cyrus comes on when my girls are in the car, I sing along with them. Hanson and MMMMBop may follow Dean Martin on my play list. And I can listen to anything Haley Williams from Paramore puts out.

Growing up in the 80s, I still love the music and wear my knowledge of it as a badge of honor. No embarrassment here, except... I cringe a little to admit how much I liked Debbie Gibson in the late 80s. Her first album was pure ear candy. The second album, not so much ("Electric Puke").

Vanilla Ice, Hall & Oates, John Denver, B52s, Alabama, David Allen Coe.

songs- "Like a Rhinestone Cowboy" or anything by the artists listed above

Why in the world would you be embarrassed to admit you like Alabama? Maybe just because they are country? One of the best bands ever. Oh, and those of you admitting to liking "Roar" by Katy Perry are right to be embarrassed, carry on.

Oh. Meatloaf. It's in my favorites list and when it pops up I get ridiculed to an extreme extent. It's still there. Underrated voice.

Hall and Oates?! Alabama?! What is wrong with some of you that think bands like Hall and Oates, Alabama, or Florence and the Machine are embarrassing?

80's - "Take On Me" by a-ha
90's - "Groove is in the Heart" by Deeelite (really not sure how many e's are in the name)
2000's - "The Remedy" by Jason Mraz

I also like both versions of "Crazy", Seal's and Alanis's.

BRB....think I have to listen to all five of these songs now.

Pitbull has a new song that is gaining popularity and will probably be huge soon called Wild Wild Love. I try and fight it but damn that song is catchy. Stupid Pitbull..

In the truck by myself, I play my 70's funk playlist...loud.

Amii Stewart...Knock on Wood
Jeffery Osborne...Every Time I Turn Around
Cameo..Word Up
Commodores...Brick House
...

Don't ever be ashamed of liking funk. Rufus and Chaka Khan are seriously awesome.

I unapologetically like most 80s music. I am actually mad that Rick-Rolling attempted to ruin my long-standing, heartfelt love for Rick Astley. I named parts of my body after Hall & Oates. It’s terrible, which makes it awesome.

“Semi-Charmed Life” makes me happy. I don’t even know why, and it was SO overplayed, but I’ll listen to that thing over and over. (And no, I've never done meth.)

I'm a child of the 80's so I have plenty of one hit wonders lurking in my collection that I'm vaguely embarrassed by:

Safety Dance - Men Without Hats
And we Danced - Hooters
Video Killed the Radio Star - The Buggles
She Blinded me with Science - Thomas Dolby
Walk like an Egyptian - The Bangles
99 Luftballoons - Nena
Pass the Dutchie - Musical Youth
The Metro - Berlin
Turning Japanese - The Vapors
Etc, etc, etc.......

Is it bad that I think those are mostly all pretty good songs?

I'm not really embarrassed by my love of 80s songs.

I am somewhat embarrassed by the fact that I know pretty much all the words to many NSync songs and can sing them quite well.

Tubthumping by Chumbawamba. Partly because I really do like the song, partly because it takes me back to a different time...I remember going to my friend's 21st birthday party, and we were all standing on chairs singing/yelling this at the top of our lungs over and over again.

Did you drink a whiskey drink, then a vodka drink, then a lager drink, and then a cider drink?

No, because they're pretty good songs! "Science" was never a personal favorite of mine. But I still love Berlin to this day, possibly more than I did back then. Something about their music that makes me think of Molly Ringwald dancing in The Breakfast Club.

Not a fan of country music but for some reason I don't hate Ode to Billy Joe by Bobbie Gentry. I can't explain why, but I've noticed that although it's melody and story line are trite and repetitive, that the musical backing is more interesting than the typical song of that type.

An obscure instrumental by Walter Wanderley - Summer Samba 1966. For some reason this reminds me of roller skating. I can just hear the woman over the P.A. saying, "All Skate" when the song starts.

I hate disco and maybe this isn't really disco, but if I could be convinced to get up and dance in real life, it would take a song like this. And this guy creeps me out.

You 80's fans need to look into Crowded House. Four truly wonderful pop albums!

Have the first two on vinyl. =)

If you think Pete Burns was scary in '85, you should see him more recently. They remixed the song somewhere around the turn of the century. He's had more work done since - very frightening.
