When was the last time ISU had 1+ in the ncaa finals? I remember Kyven, DC, John Reader all in the finals.

Was the last time Hesket and “he who I can’t say his name” the last time?

TIA and go Younger!!

In Omaha in '10 we had 3...our only 3 AA's that year when we should have been challenging Iowa for a title.

125 - Andrew Long
197 - Jake Varner
Hvy - David Zabriskie

We also had the Paulson twins and Jon Reader on that team.
Another good pull!

Not sure how I forgot about Z and Varner.

Easy for me to forget about long.

First year of KJ, right?

Nope. The Paulson's had graduated. Trent got his NC in 2009.
I had it in my head that they were on that team and were getting a lot of Omaha media attention with being from Council Bluffs...but that was for the Olympic trials around that time frame.

In spite of PSU recent dominance with this staff I think ISU is very capable of getting multiple in the finals. Candidly, I thought it would happen this year with YB, RE and AE making his way.
