For what its worth I sit where the players can actually hear what you say and there are quite a few good comments directed at individual players.

Watching on TV the crowd just sits on their hands until the last two minutes then gets up and encourages the team. They will cheer hustle plays, but I get the impression that this is just not a popular team with the fans. Fred even gets criticized from a lot of fans. If you cannot get behind the Mayor, who are you going to get behind?
We are 3-2 in Big 12 play and are way ahead of where we were last year or two years ago. The effort is getting better, especially on the defensive end.
Hats off to the season ticket holders that stuck with a program through lean years, but let's not punish this year's team for that. ISU fans are loyal, now let's be loyal and enjoy it.

I only get to one or two games a year. Last night was the first time I had been to a game since the first game of last season.
The first thing I noticed was during the player introductions. During the intro for OSU they kept the music playing over the PA system. Kinda drowns out the whole "5 claps" thing, which I always thought was kinda cool. I always thought it came off as "We're only clapping for you out of courtesy". With the music going it just doesn't seem the same.
