As a shooter it's hard to get in a rhythm not taking a ton of shots. Not an excuse at all, but Thomas has shown he is capable of hitting some big shots (at BYU late 3 pointer, late three pointer at Ok State to put us ahead). Sure, he's been in a slump. Chris Babb was a great shooter and had a huge slump before he hit the 3 that sunk Kansas. Just relax people. Fred is one of the best in the business's for Matt's problem.

At this point it is not his shooting that is the problem. It is he does not chase well enough to defend other shooters. He can get by on his passing, shooting, dribbling, but not his chasing. He does not react fast enough yet. He needs to get better on defense by total court awareness and ready to roll attitude when coming into the game. He needs to go all out chasing. It will come with time as he is young.

lol. Average to Poor? #9 team in the nation ... and we can barely hold on.

Do you really disagree that most of the team is average to poor defenders? OK. I thought it was obvious. Look, I'm not peeing in cheerios here. The team overall is really good. And that's because they score so well. FH doesn't need a roster full of lock down defenders. Do I worry that not being able to get key stops is going to cost us the conference title? Sure, but I don't think winning the conference is necessary to qualify the season as a success.

This kid will be special before he's done. He has the skill set to be a similar style of player as Georges, maybe not as good but as a guy who can post up/drive/pass/shoot. He's also solid on the glass and d. Perfect fit for Fred
I agree he is special would love to see Nader and George play a 2 man pick and roll game with Mckay on the block and Naz in the corner.
