What an incredible humble brag about living in a new fancy suburb that has lots of construction. Bravo. :jimlad:

It's a newish suburb but last set of houses were completed roughly 10 yrs ago. Although a couple are doing additions/pools right now but not on the parts we drive. Believe me, that was the first thing we thought back through.

I would like some feedback on a situation, mostly how to determine that this issue is a flaw with my spouse. He keeps driving over nails and I believe it must somehow be his fault.

April: Gets a nail in front right tire, has to be replaced
Last week: Gets a nail in left rear tire, has to be replaced. Replaced Monday.
TODAY: GETS A NAIL IN LEFT REAR TIRE, HAS TO BE REPLACED

Same car, same driver, different roads in use. The middle one happened an hour from home. Please give your feedback via poll or comments.

I will take questions.
Trade for a new 1 ton dually for you to drive.

1st: Roads from home to school/work
2nd: At a state park
3rd: Roads from home to summer camp to grocery store

Some of 1 and 3 overlap but 2 was entirely separate.

He isn't crossing a picket line is he?

Our company gave a large project to a non union company and with a union hall right down the road from our facility, they kept throwing hand fulls of screws and nails every couple days onto the entrance of our parking lot so all the employees, truck drivers, clients...anyone coming onto our lot ran over them. We had to clean them up for at least a month until they moved onto someone else.

Earlier this year I somehow got a razor blade in my tire driving to work. The garage that replaced the tire told me it was his third razor blade in the last day. Still don't know if I drove through something someone intentionally set or if maybe someone dropped a box of blades. The hole was too big to repair.

This is why I avoid driving through areas with new houses going up. Plenty of construction materials get dropped on the streets.

Every house in my hood got a new roof last fall or this spring after golf ball sized hail. I ended up with one flat and it was from an 8d nail and not the shingle nails that were all over the place. I picked up over one hundred in my alley with my rolling magnet. Only like a a few staples and a two nails at my own house, I was lucky to have a really good crew doing my roof.

That’s a really nasty side piece. I actually gave him the benefit of doubt on the vote though!

My post got deleted because somebody whined that I compared it to the Netflix show that happened to have a cake featuring a former President. F****** p******.
Well that’s dumb. Also that show is great, it’s really nice to have on in the background while doing other stuff
