I have a dilemma and CF seems to be the place with all the answers. I got NCAA 13 for Christmas on PS3. I have NCAA 12. Do I keep NCAA or trade it in for Maddon?

Thanks!

Most years I would say NCAA all the way, but Madden and it's physics engine are pretty cool, this year

Bolded part scares me a little with how true it is...

It has been years, probably Nintendo 64 era, since I've owned Maddon. I've just recently started following more NFL more. Still a tough decision. Thanks for the input.

Funny you say this because I am in the same boat. I buy NCAA every year and Madden about every couple of years. Usually I play NCAA nonstop and only play MAdden every once in a while. This year it is the opposite. Madden has it's warts but I love the feel of the running game. Find myself playing it a lot more than NCAA. I haven't made it through a whole season on Madden in 10 years, but just finished one last night and loved the way they set up the draft this year. One drawback to MAdden this year is that I don't think you can import the NCAA draft classes.

I'm an NCAA fan just because I like NCAA football more than the NFL. However I recently downloaded the free demo of MaddEn '13 and really like it. Sounds like there are some pretty cool features in it too. Thinking about trading in the NCAA for it to start out the new year.

NCAA 13 isn't a whole lot different from 12, but Madden 13 is a big step up from 12. The new physics engine really makes a different. I haven't looked into it, but I hope they plan on using it for NCAA in the future.

I wasn't a huge fan of Madden, and play NCAA pretty regularly. NCAA '13 is a great game, but if you already have '12, I might check out Madden as well.

Madden made a big change, I just didn't like the changes. It seemed to me like it was impossible to run the ball and impossible not to get 50 yard pass plays every time you pass it.

NCAA didn't make a big change but it did seem like you could run it and pass it and play defense, something you couldn't really do in M13. So if I were you I would choose NCAA 13.

NCAA 14 will be a lot cooler with all of the improvements Madden made this year. NCAA 13 was still a little glitchy for me and I was slightly disappointed with it. Overall a good game, just not as great as I expected.

I only update every 3 or 4 years anyway, so this may not be the most relevant opinion.
In my case, I just don't really care about the NFL, so Madden doesn't appeal to me.
When I do buy a football game, it's NCAA. I just prefer college football, and translate that into the games I buy.

I'd vote Madden.

I'm normally pro-NCAA but 2013 didn't do it for me. I traded it for Madden 13 as soon as it came out and had no regrets. I still play NCAA 12 when I get the urge to play college football and it's fine.

I actually spend more time recruiting than actually playing the game. I usually sim the games and and try to recruit ISU to a national title.
