Unless you look at RPI specifically, I don't believe there is a single team in Lunardi's last 4 Byes or Last 4 in that should be in the tournament over any Big 12 bubble team.

Alabama, Providence, USC, UCLA, Middle Tennessee, Louisville
Hell, throw in St. Mary's, Florida State, NC State, Va Tech even.

Alabama is definitely in over any of the 4 Big 12 bubble teams, they have some huge top end wins.

With their win today.i would agree with you. They arent far and away better. They have losses far worse than the big 12 teams.

I assume it's going to be 7.
My guess at probable seed lines (as of today):
1. Kansas
3/4 West Virginia
4/5 Texas Tech
6/7 TCU
9/10 Kansas State
10 OU
11/First Four Texas
First four out: Oklahoma State
Next four out: Baylor

DRatings.com has Baylor and OSU in the NIT, and the other 7 in the field:
https://www.dratings.com/predictor/ncaa-basketball-predictions/big-12-basketball-projections/

I have found this to be a very good site, since they bother to project both the NCCA and the NIT. They have done a good job with it the past few years.

I don't disagree with my team being out... we just aren't that good, but I wonder why everyone is OK with UT being obviously in and Baylor being obviously out....

Overall records are about equal, Conference are equal, best wins are about equal, Texas has two close loses in November against good teams, but Baylor is 2-0 head to head. Seems like the Horns biggest edge is they have the possible #1 draft choice for ESPN to talk about

You can't just throw out what happened in November and December. Oklahoma has a much stronger non-conf profile.

OU is 2-8 in their last 10 and hasn't had a road win in 2018
