Never sat hillside before..

Appears as that if you don't have a ticket for hillside you wont be getting one unless its from someone else.

Sit on the south side, north side hillside usually has kids that are running around right by the fence and block view. Bring blanket or you will have a wet rear end since it is supposed to rain Friday into Saturday.
It would be the best view to quickly find an open seat in the upper corner as soon as possible, especially SW side.
Is that because if you're going to sit on the SW side the upper corner is the only decent spot or are you saying the SW side is the best place to sit?
Probably better be in there at least 45 minutes before kickoff if you want a REALLY good spot........30 minutes before kick if you want to avoid having to stand all game long.
Avoid the NE hillside if you have young kids, unless you want to teach them some new words in the cheers coming from the Student Section. My first game at Jack Trice was with my young son for the Nebraska game. "Dad, what does it mean to huck a fusker?"
I really don't think that the hillsides are that bad of a view. I don't understand why everyone disses them.
I don't think anyone really knows. Last year, with all four corners open, you could still get a good spot 20 mins before the game. This year that all goes out the window. People are going to storm the south side hillsides. Especially with all the tickets sold for the UNI and Iowa games. I would say if you want a good spot on the south side for the first two games, I would go at least an hour early. But I'm just guessing. I will probably head in around 9:45 for the Iowa game. Maybe earlier. Going to cut into my tailgating, but I want a good view for the wins!
