Rondo is much taller and much longer. He can overcome his lack of shooting.

This guy's size concerns me if he can't shoot. Not saying he can't but it wasn't in the video.

The little mite from Cal who torched us last year wasn't much of a shooter, was he?

Just need someone who can beat their guy off the bounce and, either, find the open guy OR finish at the rack. Speed and toughness kill in the college game.

That being said, I'm not going to pretend to know anything about this kid, but if he WANTS to play for ISU, get his *** here.

Im not suggesting anything illegal went on or anything mischevious, but was'nt Curtis Stinson on campus this week too. He is from NY, so is Sledge, was this on purpose to maybe give Sledge a little perspective??? I have no idea on the timing of things, when CS was here and which day Sledge was, but its just a thought. IF so, I would find it hard for the kid to say no to someone like that. People who ball from NY, KNOW and ADMIRE Jamal Tinsley and Curtis Stinson, theres no doubt about that.

The kid from Cal is Jerome Randle and yes he could shoot, IIRC.

I've always wondered what IIRC means.

Anyway, I just looked it up, and I guess your right about Randle. He was a 40% 3 pt shooter for his career (shot 31% his freshman year and 46% as a junior. Sophmore and Senior years were right at 40%). For perspective, Scotty is a 43% 3 pt shooter. Germadouche was also around 43%.

I didn't really follow him after we played Cal, but he was 0 for 7 from deep against us, and still finished with 18 points. Most of those were within 5 feet. He also had 9 assists. This was the performance I was referring to when saying we need a guy who is tough around the basket and can find the open man once he blows by his guy.

Just to throw this out...Randle was listed at 5'10" 172. That's about the same size as this kid, right?

Would there be anything wrong with that? Jordan was at UNC when HB visited.
