I'm going to assume there are at least a couple "diamond in the rough" types in our list of verbal commits and hope they all stay all in and are truly Cyclones at heart

Ah--so, premium info?

It was posted in some article (non-ISU) on-line that I found where the claim was he ran 4.39 at UTEP but the actual UTEP article from the Lubbock area says he ran the 4.55...

Not sure what this world is coming to when a guy can't put reliance on an internet posting.

I should have posted this on a previous post regarding recruits but it wasn't long ago we had a recruit decommit from UTEP and sign with us. He was barely a three-star recruit, according to Rivals. He turned out to be one of our greatest "diamond in the rough" catches ever... Can anyone guess who he was?

Commitment
. . . .

A few years ago it meant = I mean what I say.

Today = you have my interest until something better comes along.
What part of "verbal commitment" do you not understand?

Must not have taken contract law in college. That's why there are Letters of Intent, which aren't really all that binding any more.

Oddly enough, I checked the site for the Cedar Hill track team, which listed their "season best" performances. Harris wasn't even listed among the sprinters. He was listed with about a 6'2 1/2" high jump--with the one FB teammate (I think an A&M commit) going 6'8".

Cedar Hill HS Track & Field Season Statistics and Records

*Oops--that isn't the same site I found before.
