Our WR's havent been very good for a long long while. We may have numbers, but we needed an upgrade in talent and hopefully we have done that. I would like to see at least one DE signee though

Moore may play DE and the same goes for Knott/Scott.

It's much more likely to find potential a play maker at WR in a condensed recruiting season than a D-Lineman who can play in the Big 12. The good D-linemen are a hot commodities and almost always get locked up early. Give PR a full year to get in on some D-line candidates.

Why are people saying good get? Do you have insight into his play ability? It looks like Kansas was his next best offer and is a 2 star. If people know more about him, please share. Will he play WR at the college level?

I can't say we've ever had a "great" wide receiver corps, in my thirty-odd years of watching Cyclone fooball. Occasionally a very good receiver (Tracy Henderson or Todd Blythe), but not really a great ensemble. That looks to be changing. Quickly.

Moore may play DE...
I hope not, considering that we may need a center even more than we need a defensive end--with Laing and Martin we at least have bodies.

The way I see it right now, next year playmakers at defensive end and linebacker will top the "needs" list.

In a scramble like this, you take talent where you can get it, then patch the remaining holes next year. And maybe defensive tackle is in better shape than some people think.

Awesome?

Profile seems odd--he supposedly has offers from Kansas and Ole Miss, but didn't visit; apparently not only visited, but was at one time committed to Tulsa, but is listed with no offer...

Still, Garland is a good school.

Remember that our old bud chiz hired Tulsa's OC away. He was one of the spread guru's so the early commit to Tulsa is a good sign. He should fit in nicely with what Herman plans to implement.

He has tremendous character and judgement. He chose the Cyclones, didn't he? What more could you possibly need to know:wink:?
