Just stick with the i-state logo.

Clemson is the only team in the top 10 of CFP rankings that has a logo representing their mascot or team name on their helmet.

I like Clemson's logo because it is simple. But they are an exception. Most of helmets with logos look too gimmicky.

The I State logo would stay as our main logo. The twister logo would be our secondary logo. Helmet wise it would just be an alternate helmet.

My first 99 choices would be to keep the i-state helmet. But IF the team insists on making a change, then maybe there is a way to throw in a small lightning bolt under or over CYCLONES or ISU... something simple.

A cardinal footprint on the side of the helmet. Let's get way the hell outside of the box!

(Kidding, JP! The turd is bad enough)

Didn’t somebody on here come up with a meaner, more realistic looking “tornado” not that long ago? I liked that one.

Not a fan of change, but I did come around to the I State. Like it now. Won't ever buy a shirt or hat with the new cyclone, just looks cheesy.

Difference being you know what the I-State is when you see it so even if it's not preferred, it's still recognizable. This thing doesn't resemble much of anything.

They need to do a fan poll about these kinds of things.

The image someone made up of using the modern uniforms with the old thinner cyclone image was way better.

NWB was wearing a warm-up with the new logo while he was out injured, too.

Kind of a weird sighting...

I was watching a report about the Parkland shooting and the gist was about the recent shooting in New Mexico, a high school called Aztec (and how they were reaching out to Parkland). Anyway, they had footage of mourners marching with candles. One of the men had an Iowa State pullover on. Red with white letters, looked McCarney era...

There are programs that have used exactly the same logos for decades. Then we change ours every few weeks. How many have we had in the past 100 years? 4000?
Yeah, I'm not a fan of the I-STATE but damn...I'd take it 100 times out of 100 over the turd bugle. If an endless succession of sh*ttier and sh*ttier logos is coming then we should just stop where we're at and do "no more harm".

I'm grateful we've stuck with the I State as long as we have. We need to stop creating new logos and just update ones we have.
