3. Reece Uhlenopp: A skilled 6'7" forward from UDale, he may draw an offer. He has a Creighton offer, and would be ranked much higher if he hadn't been injured all winter.

Reece is pretty good. I'm not sure if he's big 12 caliber, but he's good. He is a great shooter. Started varsity as a sophomore at Urbandale. The only reason he didn't play varsity as a freshman was because our team was stacked with seniors that year (i was on the team). I agree though, he'd be ranked a lot higher if he wasn't injured. I'm not sure if he's athletic enough to compete in the Big 12 though, but if he is I'd love to see him come to ISU.

Reece played very well in Sunday nights Capital City league game. I'm guessing he hit 5 straight 3's.

Four of our main targets are gone, two to Marquette.
Here is how I see our '09 recruiting shaping up with Dwight Buycks, Jeronne Maymon, and CJ Wilcox off the board.
1. Xavier Thames: I am not very optimistic here. He seems to be a strong WSU lean. Watch for Marquette to be a major player here too.
2. Sam Dower: A 6'8" Minnesota forward who can shoot the three ball with deadly accuracy who has already been on an unofficial, he may get an offer after the skills camp this weekend.
3. Reece Uhlenopp: A skilled 6'7" forward from UDale, he may draw an offer. He has a Creighton offer, and would be ranked much higher if he hadn't been injured all winter.
4. Unknown: I think we may offer someone in the July evaluation period who is a diamond in the rough. Or maybe the staff has been keeping someone on the quiet.
5. Jamil Wilson: A really long shot, he is great friends with Diante, but is being recruited by every major program in the country. He may soon draw a Duke offer.

Jamil Wilson....No shot at.

Does anyone think that some of these guys (SG and SF) are opting to stay away from ISU thinking that HB might be a clone by the time these guys are ready to contribute and stealing a lot of PT?
