Dude be glad we don't have Tim Brewster. He is such a cheerleader, he makes DMAC sound comatose in comparison.
Minny's new uni's are UGLY - crappy and cheesy number/letter design - very glad we didn't go this route. Going with the "newest trends" always backfires with time...
Our new uni's are classic - classy, awesome, high quality, stylish, etc, however you want to put it. Every student I've talked to thinks they're sweet. And the design will look good forever. Just like Texas, Michigan, Tennessee, etc.
And interestingly, yes we do indeed have the same basic design as Syracuse (who's unis I also like.) Just so happens that we are copying their basketball uniforms too :smile:

I would think once everyone sees them in action on the field and we win some games, 75 percent of the naysayers will stop griping about the Uni's.

That guy is a tool - and I don't think there's a person who agreed with what he had to say. That and how ISU got defended on a national level by complete strangers - that was outstanding.
Syracuse's "all orange" uniforms are hideous. With a blue or white top they're fine, but I can't stand looking at the "all orange."

I think most of the students, from what I've heard, are opposed to anything and everything that has to do with the new identity - in fact, that probably includes everything JP's done for ISU since he stepped foot on campus.
I guess I don't get why the students think that this year's unis are worse than the unis from the last 5 years, especially the ones from last year. The new unis are light-years better than the ones we had.
Because young students are full of **** and vinegar. They fight everything and are trying to establish an identity of their own. I remember those days. I miss them so much.
