These threads always manage to pull out the inner fashionista of some people.

It does make me chuckle to see grown men whining about the color choice of lettering. It's, I don't know, maybe dainty is the politically correct term I'm looking for.

I think if there is anything incorrect in your observation it is the term "grown". I speak for myself and seven decades of experience.

Do you really need to read the lettering? It's not like you don't know who the team is.

If people aren't supposed to read the lettering, then why put it on the uniform in the first place?

Someone mentioned above that the uniforms are for the benefit of TV. I think it will be tough to read the gold "CYCLONES" on TV apart from close up shots. I guess we shall see.
