New WR

The point of that scene is that it’s outdated and useless information.

Opened this thread expecting to read about our new WR commit, but instead found a bunch of CF posters acting like they have the moral high ground over everyone else.

Just curious where people on this are taking any Moral High ground on anything. I went back and read what people were saying and nobody took a stance really on anything. Maybe you got your threads mixed up

Except Dom Overby had a recent history of playing football with those numbers...this dude hasn't played in four years. Being able to run and jump doesn't mean he can catch a ball or move laterally well. It is a no risk opportunity to see what he can do...but a long way from being able to contribute. We had a kid at our school who was 100, 200, 400 and long jump state champ, but never made varsity in basketball or football. Super nice kid, great athlete, different sports though.

Only one, me. You are right, and I apologize for derailing the thread. I just had a daughter, didn’t like the posts trying to get pictures of a college kid. It felt to me like it was either 1) creepy; or, 2) making a joke about what could be interpreted as casual objectification. It’s inappropriate to make a comment off-topic.

…I agree the new receiver is a no-risk and interesting add to the football team and I hope he turns into a great receiver for a year.

Kids who run 4.5 with 39 inch verts at 6’5 don’t grow on trees

Great athlete! Video of him running routes and catching the football look promising. No risk add.

I agree with this. 6'5 can run and jump? Sign me up. Not saying he'll start or anything, but jump balls in the endzone? Or FG block? I think that there are specific scenarios where someone with that skill set could be pretty useful.

Firstly, congrats. Having daughters is awesome, and yes it does make you hyper aware of these things and comments that are made, and differentiating between message board fodder and comments from actual ******* weirdos is tricky.

Its also just a message board so dont take any of this personally.

NOW, as far as this WR goes, kind of excited to see how this shakes out for ISU
