New Years Day Bears Vikings Game Question

I Have two questions.

We are staying at the Westin the night before and after and I was wondering if there are game day shuttles or is it easier to cab it to the stadium and back?

What time do the typical NFL stadiums open prior to the game. The wife will be with and guessing she won't want to stand outside and tailgate on Jan 1st in Minn. So thought there would be things to do / watch and beer to drink inside the stadium, or even a Bar close by to go to then go.

Use the Minneapolis Metro Transit. It will literally take you right to the Metrodome.

It ends up being roughly $6 a person.

Metrodome gates open 2 hours before kickoff. With it being a noon game, gates will open at 10 a.m.

Just get there early, the train will be packed. At least I assume it will be packed. I rode it coming home from a Twins game and it was pretty full.
