It's risky cause he's never led his own program but he is an up and comer. Not sure he would take the job either but Kendall Briles current OC and play caller for Baylor is a guy I would at least want to talk to.

McCarney? :pconfused:
Hey, hire Dan......then he can hire Paul back as the assistant coach. Why? We all know CPR owns first halfs. Combine that with the historic third quarters DMAC produced......all they would need to do is figure out the fourth quarter.

Really think Matt Campbell is at the top of the list because he would keep Ayeni which would likely mean keeping Warren. Lazard and Lanning aren't going anywhere. I think Campbell presents the smoothest transition.

No thanks. Toledo has played no one. I'm not convinced that he's that good of a coach or recruiter. I'm more impressed with coaches that take over bad programs and turn them around. If I had to guess though. I'd say Scott Frost will certainly be a finalist. CW did mention on a podcast that he had heard rumblings from western Iowa sources that Frost might be interested. I'm paraphrasing here.

The guy from Toledo would be great.

We destroyed Toledo and it wasn't even close. What we lost was the last 3 minutes and had 15 flags. We should, have beaten Toeldo by 3 TDs. I was not impressed when we played them. They've played no one.

Said in another post. Craig Bohl from Wyoming. Odd North Dakota State. Remember them?

It's sad but what we need is a clone of Ferentz. Give me a stud offensive line and I'll show you a team that can compete.

Montgomery can recruit better players to Tulsa than he could to ISU. He brought a five-star QB (Chad President) with him from Texas, and he'd do better to turn Tulsa around in the AAC, than to bang his head into all the problems that ISU has in recruiting. Two more years at Tulsa, and he can name his destination.

Thought Rhoads wasn't going anywhere? :)

I'll take Ken N. from Navy. But there will be lots of qualified candidates interested despite what some people will say.

The answer is Craig T. Nelson. Built a no name program into a powerhouse. Turned a culture around into a winning program. And was hilarious to watch doing it!

Oh wait, fictional. But so is the program right now. Hayden Fox it is!
