Titans fan here...
The last time I remember being ****** about a draft decision was in 2008 when we needed a receiver. Titans had the 24th pick and no WR had gone yet...Jordy Nelson, Eddie Royal, Jerome Simpson, Desean Jackson. We picked a running back from East Carolina that I had never heard of. I was so ******. His name was Chris Johnson.

Im a fellow bears fan but this is THE stupid decision you list for the Bears? I am not arguing that it is bad to P off your best player but I dont agree that this was the worst by any means.

Curtis Enis, Cade McNown, David Terrel, Anthony Thomas, Rex Grossman, Mike Martz are way higher on my list.

Trading Thomas Jones and keeping Cedric Benson (even though he was the #1 draft pick)

bought the jersey :pmad:

the Vikings trying to score at end of 1st half vs Falcons in 1998 nfc title game. take a knee or run the ball. go into half with a big lead and get ball to start 3rd. instead Cunningham drops back, gets hit, fumbles. Atlanta gets easy points before half. that changed the whole game.

I was ****** the Vikings used the #7? Pick on a backup running back for Chester Taylor when they had other glaring weakness.

Low and behold, Adrian Peterson.

Chiefs have a lot. Ryan Sims, Sylvester Morris, Sticking with Elvis Grbac when Rich Gannon was clearly better in the 97-98 seasons. Jury still out on Glenn Dorsey and Tyson Jackson.

The major one right now is Matt Cassel. Can't stand him

Aside from Adrian Peterson, I can't really remember a lot good moves the Vikings have made in recent memory. Jury is out on Ponder still. I'm most bothered by the fact that after they lost in the NFC championship game the coaches and front office basically said were good enough to do it again we don't need to improve anywhere and made zero off-season moves w/o a 1st round pick. Plus not picking Gronk in 2010 draft....

Hiring Herm Edwards as our coach. That set us back a few years. Otherwise not firing Haley until it was too late last season along with sticking with Palko instead of going to Orton were both dumb decisions.

For the Cowboys I would say

Passing up on Moss
The Joey Galloway trade
The Roy Williams trade

On the other side of the fence we benefited from the Vikings Herschel walker trade.

In 1992 the Colts held the first and second overall picks in the NFL draft. They selected Steve Emtman and Quentin Coryatt. Although in all fairness, that was a lousy draft year. I just looked at the first round results - not one potential hall of famer in there.

good decisions: Drafting Sam Bradford, hiring Jeff Fisher.
bad decisions: Drafting Nebraska Cornhuskers: Lawrence Phillips, Adam Carriker, Eric Crouch

I still have no idea why Gunther Cunningham stuck with the Chiefs so long. In the Vermeil (sp?) era he had one of the worst D's, while our offense was pretty good.

Ryan Sims was one of the worst draft picks in their history and IMO Tyson Jackson was/will be considered a mistake.

By far the most annoying is the Jared Allen trade. That dude has been arguably the best DE for the last 5 years or so. With him + Tamba Hali on the edges in Crennels system = great D.

One of King Carl's last great moves. He had the Chiefs heading the wrong way for years.
