Nice looking Uniforms

I'm going to guess all they did to make these was take the current jersey patterns and switch out the white fabric for grey. Doing a complete redesign would take longer as new patterns aren't easily chosen. We got them quickly because it takes no design work from Nike. Just a reorder of the ones we already have with different fabric! Thought they were pretty slick, personally, but the red blended in a bit much so the helmets looked a bit weird. Most likely they look nice close up.

No. But I definitely like them as alternates. Wouldn't mind seeing them 1 more time.
I really don't care what the uniforms look like but I want too be able to read the numbers. If they were right in front
of me the numbers could be read. Once they got about 50yds away difficult to read. SJS numbers could be seen the length of the field away.

I bet we see them once more, Thursday night on ESPN against OU.
I would like to see them mixed and matched with existing parts of our uniform set - like gray pants and cardinal jersey, or white pants and gray jersey and white helmet. Mix it up.
This is the first game I have been to this year. I too think that these new uniforms are just simply ugly. I didn't know that charcoal grey was a team/school color now. It reminds me of when Dan McCarney introduced blue as a team color years ago. If it was just a grey strip or border color, but the whole uniform is grey. Makes no sense and I absolutely hate them. At first I thought we were the team in white and we were playing Iowa.
No, you didn't. You didn't like the uniforms? Fine. But you're taking your "cool story, bro" story way too far to be believable.
I wonder what it'd look like with the 'Iowa State' in yellow instead of cardinal. Can barely see it in that photo above.
I think you are right. Campbell said after the game we may wear them again because the players loved them. I think Thursday night wearing grey uniforms would be really cool. I know it would be hard to organize a grey out but it could be cool if the bookstore release game shirts vs OU that are grey.

Really didn't care for the combination. Really dark and hard to tell who was who. Couldn't really read the numbers. Most of the stands are wearing red and we come out in grey. Definitely not my favorite but I don't really care that they are trying new colors.
This thread shows that fans can't be pleased. Huge fan of the uniforms, but they could wear just about anything and you won't hear me complain.
