Nick Stauskas

Thanks for posting!

A couple things I liked about his video:

1. He looks to create his own shot, which can be great against some of the competition we play, he is not just a spot up guy.

2. Looks to have some good court vision, able to see teammates getting into position.

3. Good length, at 6'4'' could play a few different position with his ball skills and outside shot could range from point in a big line-up to the 3 in a small set.

Needs to fill out and refine some passing skills but I like him, would much rather have him than that kid everyone was talking about as Gatens 2.0 yesterday!
 
Looks good to me.

1. pure shooter

2. He looks pretty crafty

3 Doesn't look that athletic but dunks pretty easy for 6' 4", must be the long arms.

I think after the transfers are gone we'd still be very solid
with Stakukas and Okoro as Sophomore SGs and Ejim SR
and Jok FR SFs. Fred would have great flexibility with each
players skill set. I know Okoro is listed as a SF but he appears
to be able to play both positions.

Another Canadian! Let's keep that pipeline from the Great White North flowing (Ejim, Vanderbeeken, Stauskas??) and get this guy signed.
 
The great thing about Canadians is that our weather is actually mild. -5 degrees is a warm up for them.
 
I had a seizure watching that, but I am impressed with his game. I'd really like for him to be a Cyclone.
 
Stauskas has a teammate, Kaleb Tarczewski, that Bill Self is going after hard. Another teammate, Alex Murphy, has already committed to Duke.

BTW, the only place I've seen it reported that Kansas has offered Stauskas is a twitter account run by a 15-year-old - http://twitter.com/TheRecruitScoop/status/36513742439063552 - Doesn't necessarily make it false, but no one else is reporting it.

I'd take him. Smooth shot, very poised and he is very creative. He's not shy of a little contact too. Go after him Clones.

Maybe you should ante up the $10 a month and you'd be able to figure it out for yourself.

I'm half shocked you were able to pick up the oh-so-blatant play on words that created this screen name.

I get the play on words. The ability of Iowa State University and it's students/alumni to put "Cy" in everything is quite amazing, actually. "Tech-Cyte" was my favorite one while I was on campus. I was always surprised when I didn't see the number for a "SuiCYde hotline" in the campus directory.

And I'm not paying $120 a year to get information that I can get for free a couple of hours later. Congrats on your elitism, though.
