i was just wondering if we still have a chance of getting niles paul even though he is committed to nebcraska. because on rivals we were completely off the database for him, then it added us, lsu, and michigan. now it has dropped LSU and iowa state and michigan is still on there. i was curious if he was still looking around and if we had a shot if he is?

Wheels, i noticed the exact same thing. He might be thinking of Iowa State because of his quarterback (Phillip Bates) is coming here. Most people thought they were going to be a package or duo type of deal.

With the way he played in the Army All American Bowl, ISU could definently need him.

Niles was the stud receiver out of the whole group playing in the San Antoin Bowl. Many plays were practiced utilizing him. Remember John Blake has left, Jay Norvell is looking. Look to who was the principal recruiter on rivals and it may explain why he is rethinking. If he came to Iowa State, it would be a very big deal at 6-2 210 4.4 spreed and 3.5 gpa and rated 43.

well Phillip Bates is Phillip Bates, Sr.'s son who starred at Nebraska and played in the NFL and we got him didn['t we. We aren't going to get Niles Paul, but it isn't because he is Ahman Green's cousin, Ahman Green has a lot of cousins, Stevie might even be related to him since he is related to Ahman's cousin Tierre Green, so you know, that isn't the main factor. We can get kids with Nebraska ties!

yeah but we got the early committment from Phillip, i mean Phillip barely even considered being a husker because they didnt want him for what he was, Niles was pretty much a Husker from the start, and being over in western iowa, he is all the news stations talk about

i think some of you are missing the point of my thread. i know he has nebraska ties and is the cousin of ahman green. but his school list is changing even as he is committed to nebraska. i get the feeling hes looking around but thats just my opinon with no facts to back that up other than his list on rivals has been changing
