Osky won. Really good game. First high school game I’ve seen in a long time. Born looked like a 13 year old on TV. You have to think he could play at Drake, had a good handle too.
Who knows how accurate this is, but it does look like Drake and UNI have offered him. Hopefully he goes to Drake and does well there.

Oskaloosa won but i don't understand what they are doing on offense. You have a 7ft blue chip recruit in foster and another 6'10 kid who is going to UNI but they have their guards jacking up jumpers all game. All foster does is set picks all game. He hardly even posted up. Very very strange.

Does anybody think Foster will be playing somewhere else next year? It doesn't appear Oskaloosa will have much around him.

I would bet strongly against him playing in Osky or Iowa next year.

Menlo, Iowa
In my eyes, Foster is George Conditt with a little bit more outside skill. Don’t see the 5 star talent yet but as stated above, it’s all on potential.

This Bowen Born kid is fun to watch. Too tiny for ISU to jump in, but he’s holding his own.

Born is so small compared to his teammates. Kid needs to put a lot of muscle on to play at any DI school.

better competition? More exposure?

Does he need more exposure? He’s already considered one of the top recruits in the country.

Honestly after watching him in that game I’m not sure that he’d be looking for better competition either - he certainly wasn’t dominant and I’m guessing Henry takes him to school every day in practice.

You don’t get exposure playing high school basketball. The exposure comes from
Playing AAU basketball. College coaches never go to high school games.

Btw remeber Mike Born went the first two years to Nebraska Omaha before transferring to Iowa State. I could see Bowen going and doing something like that. Getting stronger and filling out and then transferring to a bigger school.

This is not true at all.
