I didn't watch the game. Is there a video of the cheap shot that took out Miller? Eric and John on the radio made it sound pretty bad.

How about the personal foul penalty on Cory after he was easily held for 5 yards in the middle of the field??

I think they said it was legal but uncommon. Sucks for sure. Chop blocking should be treated like targeting.

I saw it on the first replay. He was not engaged but the guy just went low and caught him right on the knee.

So why was Qujuan Floyd the man to "catch" the pass? Obviously you can't trot out Lazard but still.

I thought for sure they were going to call OU for holding either Morrisey or for holding Ferch all the way across the field. Even so, the call on Morrisey was incredibly weak, even for a Big 12 crew.

NOTEBOOK: Rhoads will be watching tape of the hit Miller sustained that likely ended his season, thus career. http://cyclonefanatic.com/football/news/rob-oklahoma-story-2/

It wasnt a chop block. He got cut. The fullback came out of the backfield and cut him... sucks that he got hurt but there was nothing illegal about it. Its one of the things that drives me nuts about isu. OU cut us all day. Legal blocks...easy blocks. No....isu would rather a back or receiver not cut and get owned or called for holding.

It drives me nuts every year. Cut him at the knees!

I can't remember exactly what he said but Bruns said it was not a legal block.

Here nor there
OU does not need to cut us to kick our ***, but they do. They don't need to maul WR to suffocate us, but they do. You can say the same for KSU, Baylor, and so on.

We need to, but don't. It probably has to do with the fact we would not execute it correctly. When we cut block, we would either wiff or get called for a chop. On passes we would get flagged for PI. You have to be well coached to play that way.

Even chop blocking requires skill. We'd probably make "air" chop blocks if we tried going down the chop block route

NO offense to bruns but he is wrong if he thinks that is an illegal block. I rewound it a couple of times.

Bruns doesnt know his head from his *** sometimes. Don't confuse confidence with knowledge.
