***Observations from Our Loss to the Louisiana Emerils***

Now that I've applied ice and the swelling has gone down, here are my observations from our embarrassing loss to the Louisiana-whatever-the-****-their-team-is-called. Additionally, here are a few observations that did not make the cut:

-When I asked for a depth chart in the game thread, I was not expecting it to be a chart of how deep we were going to take it.
-Our most aptly named unit: SPECIAL teams. Most aptly named coach: OFFENSIVE coordinator.
-The Cajuns were unable to travel due to covid, so they sent us the New Orleans Saints in their place. At least that's what it felt like.
-Before the game: "Ha! Stupid B1G and PAC12." After the game: "I can't believe the B12 would put our ISU student athletes at risk."
-Does Matt Campbell still have to pay the Louisiana kicker the second half of their agreed arrangement?
-I honestly about sh*t my pants when I saw that QB sneak.

Why does our coaching staff seem to treat every opener like a preseason game? They do realize these games count.

- It's okay to tackle a kick/punt returner if he's not signalling for a fair catch.
