Pretty sure it pays close to 300k.
I'll do it, anticipate the old statute of liberty play!

Even better! That kind of scratch will attract plenty of capable suitors.Mess made 302 last year. Wally made like 400. My guess is that this new hire will be in the 400-500 range.

Just glad to hear people are even interested in it.
That's just a guess...
Now if he hires in-house, then I doubt it is that much.
Any word on if Klenakis or Sturdy were applying for OC positions other places when they were hired here?
In your opinion, what would keep CPR from being able to make a "big time/splashy" hire? It doesn't seem like money is too restrictive. Is it really just that difficult to get guys to Ames? Or do you think CPR will get his #1 choice?
If I remember right, timetable was a couple weeks for recruiting which should mean next week the action heats up...soooo...Chris, where ya goin' on vacation? Gotta make this big news, and that only happens when you're gone....
Funny you ask...I really was planning on taking a few days off next week. Not sure if I will now or not.

Here's my concern with this Chris (please feel free to poke holes). Rhoads should have all the information he needs to make an accurate assessment of Sturdy and Klenakis. If he is looking around, wouldn't that mean that he's not comfortable giving these guys the reins? And if he ends up selecting either of these guys, wouldn't that be considered a letdown that we must have missed out on one or more better candidates?
If Rhoads felt that either Sturdy or Klenakis were the guy, why wouldn't they just be announced now?
