Anyone who bashes Kane or Melvin can go **** themselves.

Exactly. i wouldn't trade those guys for anybody. Without either one of these guys we'd probably have been done long ago. They are and will always be great representatives of ISU. Ready to hang some banners next year, and I hope they get back and can be honored. Kane and Ejim have played a huge part in building a powerhouse program.

Awesome year! One of the best ever. I am ready for next year already. It is cool that we are now a program that reloads rather than rebuilds. Ready to bring it every year.

I'm really sad, but great year guys! Ucon- won fair and square. We'll finish in the top 20. Who saw that coming back in November?

So Proud of this team. Facing a team who plays often at MSG, down Niang, Melvin having a rough night but this team as they have done all season never quit. They played their ***** off. Thanks so much to our seniors especially Melvin. His efforts at ISU will NEVER be forgotten.

We had a great run, could have been better yet if we had made our free throws. Melvin never shot a free throw. That has got to be called bizarre. It was a strange yet normal night. When we lose, it usually comes down to free throws and poor shooting. I have to give some credit to Connecticut, they play good defense.

All the players played well. The coaches coached well. We just missed more shots than we normally do. I think Madison Square garden probably had something to do with that. It was a sad night, I won't talk about the refs, but you can guess what I thought about them. Home court advantage in more ways than one.

We are such a good team. This team is the best since Hoiberg has been here in my opinion, and that is lifting this team up pretty high because Hoiberg has had some great teams.

Want to feel better about the start of our game? Check out UK and Louisville. Complete *** whooping.

That's the Louisville we at UConn have come to know and hate. When they're playing like tonight, nobody is stopping them.

Anyway, nice job by your guys closing and keeping it interesting till the end. No quit in ISU. Don't forget that Napier & Giffey have already been to the NC. It matters (as does the home court).

Build on what you're doing. You're losing a couple of key guys but you've got good bones and enough to keep going to the Dance for awhile. You're now my favorite team in the B12. F*ck Kansas.

Everyone should blow up Keith Murphy on twitter. We were on a roll with Michael Admire covering us. We get to sweet sixteen and suddenly Murphy decides to cover us in person.

Hate to interrupt the love fest, but... Uggh. Layups and free throws and ISU wins. Ejim and Kane 4-23 on essentially layups hurts. Too bad to end the season like that for those two. Oh well. Great season, on to next year.

The inside game for Connecticut has something to do with that. I think they didn't expect so much from Hogue, and still couldn't believe it even until the end. The defense was keying on certain factors, that they thought would hurt us. Obviously, they were right, and we still almost beat them. This was a great team that should always go down in Cyclone lore. Sure they had weaknesses, but they almost overcame them in almost every case.
