Why is Nixon allowed to shoot from any decent distance, especially any 3 pt attempts? Even in high school players have places they're allowed to shoot, and places they're not.

id honestly just cut my losses with him. Play young guys over him. Admit whatever negligible defensive difference he makes over his replacement is far surpassed by that replacement not going 1-8 or whatever.
He's hit 5 on 29 attempts, which makes him the only one with a worse percentage than Nixon on the year, which is really saying something.
With the season going the way it is and Tyrese very likely going pro after this year...what are the chances that Foster changes his mind after seeing this bad season and Iowa doing well and seeing a big like Garza go ballistic every game? Pretty high?

I don't think anyone expected us to win. Its the way we lost that has people upset. Prohm is very predictable and doesn't adapt. We had a promising lineup against Auburn and never tried it once tonight. Why? Lewis played 2 meaningless minutes...why? Nixon and Jacobsen continue to get significant minutes and continue to be terrible. Why do they keep playing? This isn't the first time a Prohm coached team has displayed weird lineup issues.
Regardless of steve's line-ups, coaching, etc. its pretty amazing that:
5 returning players basically didn't improve at all: Lewis, Griffin, Solo/Jake/Conditt
4 recruits: 0-4, 2 transfered before the season even started and we're getting nothing from jackson and grill
1 transfer: nixon, not ready for b12 ball
we're a mess right now.
i know its not proper CF ettiquette to criticize players, but they're all struggling horribly
