Speaking of freshman who don't play, Omaha is still struggling quite a bit at Wake since returning from his injury.

Good shooting percentage, good points per minute, not really terrible just expectations were too high out of high school. He's not playing much but seems to do well while in. I look at that and think he could be a really dominant upper classman especially if he has been hampered by injury.

One is a walk on and one was a highly recruited player who is more than capable doing what Kelderman does when he's out there.

Why are people getting so caught up with pg vs sg? It's possible to be able to play both.
Nojus is not capable of playing either position right now because a walk on is playing over him- at least that is how TJ feels about it.

I think he's got talent but even when he played he didn't exactly fill it up.

Keldermen had 0 TO and 2 assists today in 4 spot minutes. Imo that's perfect.
Keldermen doesn't hurt us when he comes in and provides minutes. I could see him being subbed in on defense to foul if needed at some point.

It's maybe surprising, but this years frontcourt rebounds better than last years front court. I don't know what it is about this year though, because it sure doesn't seem like it.
Even when they have had a slump, they have played much better than last year's front court because the talent level is so much higher. Its why we don't have nearly as many long scoring droughts. We had at least one or two 5+ minute droughts almost every game last year.

I had carryover dislike for Saunders after last year, but I feel differently after the recent game. He's really good and did nothing outside of making winning plays. He was respectful in the post-game interview too.
I won't say that I particularly like Saunders (carry over from last year also) but I have to respect his game. He plays hard and is a good player.

Houston is due for a stumble, in my thinking. If they don’t do it in KC I will not take them to win the regional.
I kind of agree with this, but they keep winning. They are definitely a 1-seed team who can win it all this year.

Excellent, let the hate grow inside you.
Iowa State and Kansas State are legitimately both younger brother schools. Where we differ is that Iowa State has generally taken the humorous annoying younger brother that knows how to get under the skin of their siblings. Don’t take ourselves *too* seriously.

KState on the other hand is the younger brother that’s forever frustrated, liable to flip the table over at Thanksgiving. They may go on to have success but they’re never quite able to outrun their inner monologue that they’re complete frauds.

I feel bad for them.

Agreed but this is the first year in maybe forever I don’t care results of B12 tournament or think it matters for what the team can do in the NCAA tourney
I would think getting bounced early would be detrimental for psyche and seeding.

I’m for winning as many games as possible.

Thinking losing doesn’t matter or not caring about losing is a mindset that breeds mediocrity.

Did we notice that Nate played the most minutes on the team yesterday (37)?

He's grown into quite the 'does everything plus the little things' utility type that is crucial this time of year.

Looks like KSU was able to buy players for this year, but were pretty often unable to buy a bucket from them when needed.

They ended up with a group of guys that never jelled into a team, outside of a few games. Too bad one of those happened against us.

Haha. At this point, I'm not even sure Tang and his group, or some of the K-state fans, even deserve commentary. The behavior speaks for itself.

Of course, we will continue to comment, when we see it. How can you not?

I don't think I honestly hate most K-State fans, I don't think so. I don't really know. Sometimes it's hard to say that I do not. I guess I should let this one go. Any fan that speaks like he just did, and calls himself a "King", is self explanatory.
