I give Fred all the credit in the world for putting this team together, but he can't coach his way out of a bag down the stretch. He just can't. I'm sorry.

I am sorry, but you are simply not very intelligent.
You do realize we were picked 5th, right? You do realize a much more talented KU team had KSU come back on them just 5 days ago. Same with OU. We (fans) think we are so talented we should have no trouble with other teams with average talent due to Hoiberg. The reality is we have a very small margin.

We lose close games because we have only had one year with great backcourt play- last year. The only criticism is in recruiting IMO, not coaching. We really could use another pg or combo guard right now. Georges as a facilitator against a post on a normal possession is fine, but it is asking too much for him to be a pg against the pressure you see in crunch time. He should be a finisher then.

Last week's road sweep was a pleasant surprise. This week's 35 solid minutes followed by collapse — I guess it's 50-50.

I don't envy Fred trying to keep the team together after this one. One your main leaders of the team, Georges, really really let them down. You don't want this to start spiraling, so you can feel okay going into the NCAA tourney
