I was saying same thing my friend at the game. No primary ball handler and your best post player out at the same time. I get that Mckay had picked up his 3rd foul, but with under 8 minutes you trust to keep him out there until he picks up #4.QUOTE]
I don't think it's so much the line-up as it is Fred's confidence in the guys to just play through runs. To me, CFH's biggest weakness is the usage of TOs. When we got that lead, we knew Baylor's only chance back in the game was with 3s, and being they were at 50% at that point in the game, after they hit the 2nd of the 5, we needed a TO and needed to change up the Def. Even in the few time we actually guarded the 3, most of the time our guys were still standing at or behind the 3 point line, giving plenty of space to get the shot off. At that moment, considering how they'd shot the 3 throughout the game AND the first game in Baylor, it was time to face guard and give up a few drives. This has been consistent with CFH, look at the KU and OU games when we had early leads, didn't adjust or call TOs and the other team got on a run. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he's a bad coach, he's been awesome, just pointing out one of the weaknesses I've noticed.
