That look on Brockington's face is funny.
It will be a fun game to watch. These team has already surpassed wins for the season that I was expecting with all of the changes to what was a really bad team. At this point they are playing harder on defense than any Cyclone team since Larry roamed the sidelines. The shooting? Who knows. There are guys that can really shoot some nights and not at all on others. Hopefully we will never see another 1-20 from 3 from any Cyclone team. Gabe Kalscheur is an interesting player that seems like he is capable of making 3s in bunches.
Heading to the game as soon as the babysitter gets here! First time seeing the Cyclones in person since '19. LFG!
Had the guys hit their free throws we win by close to 30. I don't get why all the "half glass empties" on this site just waiting for the shoe to drop. Eventually the guys will lose a game. Regardless they have set themselves up for a good run at the conference and a tourney invite. The worst they can be is 10-2 before Baylor comes to begin conference. A win against a bad Mizzou team in January and 9 wins in the conference gets them 20. That doesn't include a win at Hilton south. Come on people........buck up......they are good enough to win both this week and go into the Baylor game 12-0.
Never underestimate the ability of some of our fans to undermine our team any chance they get. That mentality and behavior is an insecurity and a defense mechanism as a means to protect themselves from getting their hopes up and being let down.
Like I said in another thread the other big 12 programs have taken notice of us and their fans seem more optimistic about ISU than a lot of our own fans at times. This is a good team they are playing tournament level basketball right now. With the way the staff is running the program I only see them improving and getting better.
I totally forgot about that until seeing this posted. I was there too. Caught a break there.

This is gong to be a tough environment and the experience regardless of outcome will really help this team grow together come conference season. Just want to see another solid def effort from these guys and hope it translates into another win.

Everybody send out some good juju so the MLS playoff game on FS1 isn’t tied after 90 minutes. If it’s tied, it’ll go into extra time and possibly penalty kicks.
I would think they’d start us on FS2 if that happens, but I have long given up on assuming that TV producers will do the logical thing.
