Have you seen Michigan lately? Not deserving of a 1 seed as of now

It isn't a "lately" matter, it's full season. But if we do go that route, recent results actually favor U-M.

The numbers are close enough an argument could be made for Gonzaga over Michigan, but 2 of Michigan's last 3 losses to were to top-25 rpi. Gonzaga has two top-50 wins since December, both over St. Mary's, which is teetering on the bubble. All Michigan's wins (and losses, for that matter) are against tournament locks.

U-M may not be a 1 seed, but then GU isn't, either.

That's fair. I guess I wouldn't have a problem if Gonzaga got a 1 seed over Duke and Michigan at this point in the year. None of them have really separated themselves from each other

Yeah, seems like nobody wants to be on the top of the heap this season. Teams keep playing their way out of a 1 seed.

Michigan did itself no favors in recent weeks. A win in any of those recent road losses would've kept them up there.

Screw Jerry Palm. He is a joke anyways. Joe Lunardi is pretty accurate with seeding for the big dance. So obviously would put more weight with his projections.
Got to be honest. If i am a lower seed I would love to be paired with Creighton in the first round. They are fading fast!! Wouldn't surprise me if they ended up an 8-9 seed when it is all said and done.
Love the ISU vs. N.C. State matchup against Bobby Lutz!

You can thank the B12 if Zags get a one seed. They beat half the league.

Our margin for error has gone. This game against Baylor is a must
we fell out of the top 50 RPI.. we need to beat wvu and tech then 2/4 against baylor, OU,KU,osu... and our rpi should be firmly back in top 50 and we should be fine. We go 11-7 in conference we should be good... winning wednesday will take a lot of pressure off

Not close to a must win.. we're not expected to win at baylor. We'll be a solid underdog in this one. If we win the games we're supposed to, we should be ok. @Baylor is not one we're supposed to win. It would be great if we did.

Losing @Baylor would not deserve the 10 NIT threads that would be sure to follow.

Looks like Iowa will finish with 20+ wins, will be interesting to see where they end up.

Was just thinking that. They should have 21 wins going into the conference tourney. I think they have a real good shot of getting in the way their schedule sets up.

We don't need to beat Baylor but doing so would give us a lil cushion in case we lose to either Ku or osu

If we do lose to baylor, I feel bad for the situation TTech would be walking into.. could be an uglier score than the TCU game.
