I think maybe Moala and Guy are being recruited at DT? I also think the coaches will see where they end up numbers wise and in the spring they will shuffle players around depending on who they get and what position they think everyone will play.

For example are they going to move Irving back to DE, how good does Cousin look, is a guy like Aka going to switch to DE or is he going to start there and move back to DT because Mitchell Meyers plays really well, ect.

It's pretty fluid.

Thanks for the info and I get that we could have some position changes. I dunno, I just wonder if DT is such a difficult position to recruit why we aren't offering to more than just two. It seems like we are not recruiting enough of the guys that ARE good enough to be offered.

I guess I'd just like to know the thought process, or the method behind the madness if you will.

Things are looking positive for the recruitment of Greg Gooch according to 247sports.com

No, that's Kenric Young, and I'm not sure about which way he is leaning. Gooch is a LB/DE.

I meant the writer from Orlando picking ISU in his Crystal Ball prediction at 1AM today. Apparently, there's something else?

Speaking of Young, I just glanced at his twitter, he's announcing at 2 (not sure if that's east). I'm thinking the chance of him going anywhere but Utah is about .5%.

If I had to bet anything, my guess is that Kenric is going to Utah. He just visited there and it just feels like he is leaning that way. But in the game of recruiting, you never know.

So by most accounts this is our best recruiting class in a while but we are still 10th in the big 12 overall (per 247) and 59th overall. The class calculator they have there is a fun little tool. Looking at some of the recruits we have a decent shot at (not Jones or the Ucla kid) they still all fall near the top of our class:

so by most accounts we have between 3-5 spots left. Assuming we have 5 left and take amongst this group and not 2 DL (in that case would include Moala or Antonio guy but they didn't show up on here) I am guessing we take a RB, a CB, a DL, an LB and the best remaining. This option would produce our best rated class moving us up to 45th and ahead of TCU, KU, and KSU: 2014-01-22-08-31-13.png
But would give us two CB (though gray is also the #60 ranked RB and a projected safety by others so really could be a very vversatile option for us). My O option and probably the more realistic one would be this: still a good class: 2014-01-22-08-30-03.png (note whether Johnson or Gray wouldn't matter for class ratings much they are both really close). Really though I would be thrilled with any combo of these guys.

Don't we pay for a recruit to take an official visit here? If he recently committed elsewhere, why bring him here?

He just wanted to assure he had a spot on a team. Things can still change. This happens quite often.

Man watching Micquells highlights, he's got a real ability to weave through traffic pick the right rush lanes quickly, and still has patience not to overcommit He would be a great replacement for Brackens. Not afraid to put his head in there, i really like his ability. If that guy was 6'-1" he would have 20 D1 schollies. As it is, he's only got 5 with 3 of those 5 being very good programs and one being above the middle tier D1 schools.

This would be another welcomed addition to this class.....

Go Get him CPR.....
